About Speech Rehab Clinic
What is Speech Rehab Clinic?
Speech Rehab Clinic is a specialist rehabilitation center in Pakistan. We provide Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Child Psychology, and Hearing Aid Solutions for children and adults. We deliver care at our clinic, at your home, at hospitals, and through online video sessions.
Where are you located?
Our clinic is based in Islamabad, and we are opening in Rawalpindi soon. We also provide home sessions across the Twin Cities (Islamabad and Rawalpindi). For the exact address and directions, tap the link or WhatsApp us.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book by calling us or sending a WhatsApp message. We respond quickly and help you choose the right service, therapist, and time slot.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book a session?
No. You can contact us directly and book without a referral. If your doctor has already assessed you, bring that report so our therapist can build on it right away.
Session Types
Do you offer clinic, online, home, and hospital sessions?
Yes. We provide clinic appointments, online video sessions, home sessions, and sessions for hospitalized patients where appropriate.
Do you offer home visit therapy?
Yes. Our therapists travel to your home for full assessment and therapy sessions. Home visits are especially helpful for elderly patients, children with autism or cerebral palsy, and post-stroke or post-surgery patients who find travel difficult.
Do you provide online speech therapy and psychology sessions across Pakistan?
Yes. We conduct live video sessions for Speech Therapy and Child Psychology. You only need a smartphone or laptop with a camera and a reliable internet connection. Families across Pakistan use our online sessions regularly.
Can you visit patients admitted in a hospital?
Yes. We provide in-hospital therapy for admitted patients. If your family member is recovering from a stroke, brain injury, or surgery in a hospital in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, our therapist can visit them bedside.
Speech Therapy
What is speech therapy, and who needs it?
Speech therapy helps people who struggle with speaking, understanding language, stuttering, voice problems, or swallowing. It is for children with delayed speech, adults recovering from stroke or brain injury, and anyone with a communication disorder. Speech therapists are also called Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs).
My child is 2 years old and not talking yet. Should I book an assessment?
Get an evaluation done now rather than waiting. If a child is not saying single words by 12 to 15 months, or not combining two words by age 2, that is a red flag worth assessing. Early speech therapy gives children the strongest chance of catching up before school age. Waiting rarely helps.
At what age should a child start speech therapy?
The earlier the better. We see children from 18 months onward. The first three years of life are the fastest period of language development. Children who start speech therapy early almost always make faster, stronger progress than those who start late.
Can speech therapy help with stuttering?
Yes. Stuttering is highly treatable, especially when therapy starts early. We use evidencebased fluency techniques for both children and adults. We also work with the family because a supportive environment at home speeds up progress significantly.
Does speech therapy help adults after a stroke?
Yes, absolutely. Adults who develop aphasia, dysarthria, or swallowing problems after a stroke can make real, measurable progress with consistent speech therapy. Starting therapy as soon as the patient is medically stable gives the best results. Our team has experience treating adult neurological communication disorders at clinics, at home, and in hospitals.
Physiotherapy
What does physiotherapy treat?
Physiotherapy treats pain, movement problems, and physical disabilities caused by injury, illness, or surgery. We see patients for back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, cerebral palsy, joint and muscle pain, neurological conditions, sciatica, frozen shoulder, and general weakness or mobility loss.
Do you offer physiotherapy at home?
Yes. Our physiotherapists make home visits across Islamabad and Rawalpindi. This works especially well for post-surgery patients, elderly patients, stroke survivors, and patients with mobility limitations who cannot travel easily.
Can physiotherapy help with back pain without surgery?
In most cases, yes. A large number of back pain patients recover fully with physiotherapy alone. We use targeted exercises, manual therapy, and posture correction to address the root cause of pain without invasive treatment.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
Acute injuries often resolve in 6 to 10 sessions. Chronic or neurological conditions usually need a longer program. Your physiotherapist tells you exactly what to expect after your first assessment.
Psychology
What does a child psychologist do?
A child psychologist assesses and supports children with emotional, behavioral, and mentalhealth challenges. We work with children who show anxiety, attention problems, behavioral difficulties, learning challenges, autism, ADHD, trauma responses, or school-related struggles.
My child has been acting differently lately. Should I see a child psychologist?
Yes. If your child’s mood, behavior, school performance, sleep, or social relationships havechanged noticeably, a consultation is worth it. Catching difficulties early gives children the tools they need before small problems become bigger ones.
Do you assess children for autism (ASD)?
Yes. Our child psychology team conducts developmental assessments to evaluate children for autism spectrum disorder. We guide families through the full assessment process and explain what the findings mean and what to do next.
Can you assess a child for ADHD?
Yes. We carry out assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) using standard clinical tools. After assessment, we explain the findings clearly and discuss the right support plan for your child’s needs.
Hearing Test and Hearing Aids
What hearing aid services do you offer?
We provide complete hearing care including hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and programming, trial periods, device servicing and repair, and ongoing audiological support for children and adults.
How do I know if I need a hearing aid?
You may need one if you frequently ask people to repeat themselves, struggle to follow conversations in noisy places, keep the TV volume very high, or feel mentally tired after listening. We recommend starting with a proper hearing assessment . we can do this during
your consultation.
What is the price of hearing aids in Pakistan?
Hearing aid prices in Pakistan vary by type and technology level. Basic digital hearing aids start from around PKR 20,000 per device, while premium digital or advanced models range significantly higher. We discuss all options with you during your consultation and recommend what genuinely suits your level of hearing loss and budget.
Do you fit hearing aids for children?
Yes. Children with hearing loss benefit enormously from early fitting. We fit, program, and adjust hearing aids for children, and we support parents to help the child use the device comfortably and consistently every day.
Can I try a hearing aid before buying?
Yes. We offer trial periods so you can experience the hearing aid in your real daily environment before making a decision.
Sessions and Policies
What happens in the first session?
The first session is an initial assessment. Your therapist takes a full history, observes and tests the relevant areas, identifies strengths and needs, and explains the recommended treatment plan. You leave with a clear picture of what is happening and what the next steps are.
How long does a therapy session last?
Most sessions run 45 to 60 minutes. Assessment sessions may take a little longer. We confirm the duration when you book.
Do you conduct sessions in Urdu and English?
Yes. All our therapists are bilingual and work comfortably in both Urdu and English. Sessions are conducted in whichever language the patient and family are most comfortable with.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This lets us offer the slot to another patient. WhatsApp or call us to make any changes to your booking.
Fees and Receipts
Do you provide receipts and reports for insurance or reimbursement?
Yes. We provide official receipts and session documentation to support insurance reimbursement and employer medical claims.
